The House

The former rustico from 1647 was converted into a mountain inn in 1999 in accordance with ecological criteria. The electricity demand is covered by photovoltaic solar panels. Only with bad weather or in the evening the generator is used in a supporting function. Hot water and central heating are generated by solar panels or wood. The waste water is being cleaned in our own biological sewage treatment plant.

The rooms

The guesthouse offers 1 single room, 4 double rooms, (one of which can be extended to 4 beds) and 1 six-bed room.

All our rooms are made for customers who appreciate the simplicity of a mountain accommodation, but at the same time wish a bit of privacy and comfort. You will find fresh bed linen and towels at your disposal. (Please do not bring your own sleeping bags.)

Modern sanitary facilities and showers free of charge are at the guests' disposal. (Shared washroom with separate toilets and showers.)

We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms and in the restaurant.

Comfort studio "ca al möt" for 1-2 persons

This newly and tastefully renovated studio equipped with bedroom, living area, kitchen and private bathroom, combines simple luxury with authentic mountain ambience.

The studio can be booked for two nights or more and is located about five minutes' walk from the Capanna. Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant upon request and are not included in the price.

Combine your stay with ahike, a visit to Intragna or llama trekking and experience the cozy finale in our mountain inn.

Breakfast

For breakfast we serve coffee, tea, ovomaltine or chocolate. The buffet includes fresh bread, butter, jam, cold cuts and Ticino cheese. Musli, yoghurt, apples and orange juice.

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Dinner

Book our half-board and enjoy a 3-course menu that changes every day.
